EOI概述
自2012年7月1日起，澳大利亞移民局采用了一個新的技術移民簽證邀請制度：EOI（Express of Interest）。簡單來說，EOI就是移民局網站髮布的一個官方打分表。我們如果想遞交技術移民申請，首先要遞交EOI打分表來表明我們我們有移民意向。我們在申請EOI打分之前，需要準備好職業評估函、移民局認可的語言成績、還有自己預估出來的60分組合結構。遞交的EOI申請會在一個“申請池”裹面，移民局每個月會從池裹根據自己的需要挑選滿足條件的申請者，我們需要等待移民局挑選到我們的EOI後，髮出邀請，才可以遞交簽證材料，申請簽證。通常來講，除了489偏遠地區親屬擔保類技術移民簽證外，其他類別技術移民簽證達到60分的合格線，都會被邀請到。IT和會計類職業屬於熱門職業，有些時候需要65分以上。EOI制度啟動後，係統自動排除了不符合基本要求的申請人，大大提高了移民局的工作效率，對申請人來說是件好事。
遞交EOI的條件以及相關要點
根據EOI評分表，申請人已達到60分（除會計、IT等熱門專業以外，其他職業大多數情況60分就能被邀請）；
提交EOI是免費的，進入“申請池”後會留存兩年，每人有2次提交機會；
每月邀請兩批，申請人在收到邀請的60天內必須遞交簽證申請，否則邀請將被作廢；
邀請名額的篩選是按照高分到低分，同等分數按遞交早晚接受邀請；
遞交EOI後，只有提名的職業不能更改，其他打分因素都可以更改；
提交EOI申請是沒有時間和地域的限制的。

以上是打分細則，對於沒有澳洲學歷和工作經歷的申請人來說，主要是針對年齡、學歷、工作經驗和語言成績這幾方面，當然能拿到配偶加分就更好了。
